Clint Eastwood said something like that in a movie once, didn’t he? Anyway, this free inquiry is the kick in the butt I’ve been needing to get started with crocheting!

My Grandma was a very crafty person, so I have a few crocheted baby blankets tucked away for the future and an adult-sized blanket from my Mom somewhere in the house. More recently, my sister got into it and made a beautiful blanket for her friend’s daughter for Christmas. Needless to say, it was only a matter of time until I wanted in on the hobby.

My main issue is that I seem to lack the motivation to get started (not a shocking revelation for me unfortunately). I have had yarn for years as I thought knitting was going to be my thing for a while, but after about 12 rows of anything I lost interest. However, this time is different! I can feel it! And I’m not just saying it anymore. I am finally ready to get going! It definitely helped that my sister bought me some bulky yarn and a hook as a thank you for helping her with choreography earlier this year and that I asked for gift cards to anywhere that sold yarn like it for Christmas.

I am so excited to get started on this! I sense a lot of poorly handmade gifts in the coming year 😉 Stay tuned to see how it goes!
